If you look at the tentative practice schedule for January we are already on track to over deliver from an event perspective. We also already have 10+ games locked in for the season.

Basic criteria to be considered a captain: We will have 1-4 captains that will vary each year based on discretion of coaches.

• Step #1: Players that are interested in being a captain must text message or email Coach DeBolt that they would like to be considered a captain. (Parents can not recommend their child as a captain). Players can nominate another player they think would make a good captain.
• Step #2: All players must be in good standing with Prosper team rules/expectations and academics (i.e. have good passing grades, wall-ball times, attendance, good role model/teammate/leader etc.) *Players that do not meet requirement will be removed from consideration.
•  Step #3: Captains will be selected by online team vote. Everyone will need to put your name on the their votes and each player and coach will have 3 votes to start.

Prosper Lacrosse requires all players to pass a wall-ball test. We do our very best to strive to educate, motivate, and challenge players to their maximum potential.

Objective tests will be used to determine which team a player is assigned to in addition to deciding lines during games, so it is very important for everyone to take them seriously.

At the start of the year we will select a couple fundraiser items to focus on. Throughout the year we are open to other fundraising ideas however, we will not add new fundraisers until the 2022-2023 season. For the 2022-2023 we will focus on fundraising:

Over the past 8 months, Prosper has worked very hard to restructure the THSLL and we are proud to announce that we were successful in our efforts. This was a monumental task that will place Prosper in the “B” bracket where we can play competitive teams based on our current status as a program. The THSLL “B” will be a very competitive bracket that includes Flower Mound, Keller, Lovejoy, Highland Park B, Jesuit B, Woodlands B, Westlake B, Plano East, Georgetown etc.

• Note: The goal is to keep costs down and offer as many practices as we can from September- October and 1 tournament in the fall. Based on field availability, the goal is to underpromise and overdeliver when it comes to number of practices and tournaments. Ideally, we would like to offer more events, however with the uncertainty of field availability we are limited with what we can guarantee.
